Rangers in great shape for Saraki Babes

Still fresh from their continental outing, Rangers International Football Club will be too hot for ABS of Ilorin this weekend in the NPFL duel. The Flying Antelopes’ forward, Bobby Clement, has encouraged his teammates to aim for a home win in order to comfortably amass maximum points in the league.

Rangers, last Sunday, held visiting J.S Saoura of Algeria to a goalless draw to advance on the away goal rule in the CAF Champions League. The South-East of Nigeriabased club had held their visitors to a 1-1 draw in the first leg.

The Nigeria Professional Football League defending champions will face Egyptian side, Zamalek FC in the next round. The Enugu Rangers’ player has charged his teammates not to rest on their oars, but to improve on their subsequent matches in the next round.

He, however, urged them to rise up to the billing against ABS in Enugu to redeem their image in the local league. The league defending champions, have been swimming around the relegation zone of the NPFL competition since the beginning of the season.
