A renowned Prince in Iree, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State, Ali Afolabi, has extended his warm felicitations to Muslims on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

In a release by the Media Office of Ali, a business mogul, on Thursday, he urged fellow Muslims to increase the acts of generosity and kindness to their neighbours and ensure that everyone around them feel loved.

Thanking Almighty Allah for sparing the lives of the Islamic faithful, especially those in his country home to witness another Eid, Afolabi stressed the importance of them emulating Prophet Ibrahim (SA) in his acts of sacrifice.

Ali, a silent philanthropist, called for moderate celebration and further appealed to privileged Muslim citizens to extend love to the vulnerable.

He encouraged the Islamic faithful to seize the opportunity of the sacred celebration to pray more for the prosperity and development of the country.

The Prince said, “On behalf of my darling wife and children, I warmly felicitate with Muslims all over the world, especially, my kinsmen and women in Iree for witnessing another Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

“For us, it is a privilege given to us by Almighty Allah to be alive to join other faithful in this joyous event. It affords us the opportunity to reflect on our actions and services in the worship of the Almighty Allah. It should serve as an opportunity for us to do more for our neighbours by a way of sharing our God’s given blessings so that others can be happy.

“I, therefore, call on all Muslim faithful to pray more for the growth and prosperity of of Iree land and Nigeria at large. Let us allow love to thrive, celebrate with moderacy and show love to others.

“This celebration should also poke the conscience of our political leaders to do more in ensuring that Nigerians live better. Our economy should be rejuvenated and the worsening inflation should be tackled headlong.

“I wish us all a rewarding Eid-el-Kabir celebration and I pray Almighty Allah to bless us all. Barka de Sallah to all Muslim faithful.”
