DEPUTY Minority Leader in the 9th Senate, Emmanuel Bwacha, has formally defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Bwacha, who represents Taraba South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, defected from the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party.
He was received on Thursday by President Muhammadu Buhari, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Chairman, National Caretaker Committee of the APC, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, presented the Senator to the President.
This is one of the high ranking defections that are being expected in the ruling party as the date of its national convention draws nearer, according to APC leaders.
