… allegedly drugged, recorded sex with minor
The Police in Sokoto have arrested the son of Governor Aminu Tambuwal’s Special Adviser on Social Investment, Hayatu Tafida, for allegedly circulating a video he recorded while having sex with a minor three years ago.
The SA’s son, identified as Baffa Tafida, was alleged to have lured the minor (name withheld) to a hotel, after which he drugged and had carnal knowledge of her.
He also allegedly recorded the act for reasons not disclosed.
Spokesperson of the Sokoto Police Command, ASP Abubakar Sadiq, confirmed his arrest and detention.
The suspect was said to have released the porn video, which he recorded in 2017, on social media in 2020, when the victim was about to get married and her dowry had been paid.
He also reportedly sent the video to the groom.
Commandant, Hisbah Commission, Sokoto State, Adamu Kasarawa, said the perpetrator and his associates were arrested after the victim’s mother, Safiyya Umar, raised the alarm.
The woman, it was learnt, also said that her life was in danger as she alleged that qthe governor’s SA had told her to bury the matter.
She was said to have claimed that Baffa Tafida sexually abused her daughter (name withheld) sometimes in 2017 when she was 16 years old.
“Exactly on June 20, 2020, I received a call from Lagos on the viral circulated video of my nude daughter being sexually abused by Tafida. The suspects shared the clips to her daughter’s suitor along with other online groups,” she was quoted to have said.
