Super Eagles new boy, Osho in action for Luton Town

Gabriel Osho, a recently invited Super Eagles player, was in action for struggling Luton Town who played a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Osho who joined the Hatters in 2021 has become a mainstay in the defence which attracted the Nigeria Football Federation NFF to hand him a first international invitation ahead of this month friendly games against Mali and Ghana.

Luton entered the match against Palace having lost their previous five games.

Before going off for Luton’s scorer Cauley Woodrow on 81 minutes, Osho was sharp from the beginning of the match.

Osho, who has two goals this season, made his 16th appearance in the Premier League.

After Jean-Philippe Mateta gave Palace the lead on minute 11, Palace appeared to be winning.

But Woodrow’s goal in the 90th minute gave Luton a share of the points.

Luton is still three points from safety in the league standings, sitting in 18th place with 21 points.
