Tennis player banned from French Open after forcefully trying to kiss TV reporter

Tennis player, Maxime Hamou,  has been banned from the French Open tournament.
The player put on a clinic on how not to behave during a post-match interview — or just in life, in general. After his French Open loss to Pablo Cuevas, the 21-year-old was interviewed by reporter Maly Thomas. For some reason, Hamou decided to kiss Thomas, who clearly wanted no part of that. That did not stop Hamou from going in for a second and even a third unwanted kiss, even as Thomas tried to pull away from him. “If I hadn’t been live on air, I would have punched him,” Thomas told the Huffington Post France, as translated by the BBC. The French Open revoked Hamou’s accreditation, banning him from the tournament. The French Tennis Federation released a statement calling Hamou’s behavior “reprehensible.”
