Terrorists attack Kano Zonal Police headquarters

Suspected members of Boko Haram terrorists have fired shots at Zone 1 Police Headquarters along BUK Road in Kano.

Sources said the terrorists came in three vehicles around 12:30pm on Friday and fired several shots at the building before they zoomed off.

The sources added that security was however being reinforced around the headquarters to prevent frustrate possible attack by the terrorists.

The terrorists had attacked the same headquarters on January 20, 2012 which left at least 185 people dead in the state.
