Some suspected political thugs, on Thursday, attacked the supporters and vehicles of the New Nigeria People’s Party along Na’ibawa-Zaria road in Kano State.
The supporters were said to have been attacked on their way to receive the party’s presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Kwankwaso had arrived the state to round off his presidential campaign.
It was gathered that some suspected thugs had mobilised and started stoning party supporters.
Some of their vehicles were set ablaze after supporters were chased away.
