Troops of the Nigerian Army have killed no fewer than ten suspected terrorists in a coordinated attack on the insurgents’ dens.
A statement posted on the Nigerian Army Facebook page on Monday revealed that the terrorists were neutralised at Mai Tashi and Dan Jigba in Gusau Local Government Area, and Munhaye in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State on Monday, June 9, 2025.
It added that several arms and ammunition were recovered while five motorcycles belonging to the terrorists were burnt.
“Joint troops of Operation Fasan Yamma eliminated 10 terrorists in a well-coordinated, deadly attack on the outlaws’ locations at Mai Tashi and Dan Jigba in Gusau LGA, and Munhaye in Tsafe LGA of Zamfara State today, June 9, 2025. The operation resulted in the recovery of several arms and ammunition, and the destruction of 5 terrorist-owned motorcycles in-site,” the statement read.
