Two arrested as Army recovers 1,671 PVCs, ballot papers in Lagos apartment

Personnel from the Nigerian Army’s 9 Brigade have recovered 1,671 Permanent Voter Cards from an apartment in the Olodi-Apapa area of Lagos State on Wednesday.

According to Eons Intelligence on Thursday, three people were arrested in the apartment, while the main suspect was said to be on the run.

The troops also recovered ballot papers, cutlasses, and Indian hemp from the apartment.

Recall that the Presidential and National Assembly elections were held across the country on February 25.

There had been reports of skirmishes, ballot box snatchings and violent attacks on voters during the polls in Lagos and some other parts of the country.
