Championship outfit Millwall are interested in signing Daniel Udoh ahead of the opening of the summer transfer window, according to reports.

The Shrewsbury Town attacker has made a splash this season, scoring fifteen goals in all competitions, including twelve in the EFL League One.

A Millwall scout was present at Montgomery Waters Meadow on April 9th during Shrewsbury’s 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town and his brief was to run the rule over Udoh.

The 25-year-old was invited to train with the Golden Eaglets in 2013, before the FIFA U17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, and he is also eligible to play for Togo and England.

Udoh describes himself as a powerful and pacy attacker, and has cited former Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo and Real Madrid legend Karim Benzema as his role models.

One of the highlights of Udoh’s career was scoring against Liverpool in the third round of this season’s Emirates FA Cup.
