Residents of Umubere, a community in Akwa, capital of Anambra State, have been thrown into confusion after some unknown gunmen shot dead a Nigerian singer, songwriter and ex-Mr Universe, Slami Ifeanyi.
It was gathered that the singer was driving alone in his Lexus car on Sunday, when he was attacked and killed at Umubere in Akwa.
The lifeless body of the singer was seen in a video that has gone viral on social media on Tuesday. The deceased was hanging from the car in a pool of blood.
The ex-Mr Universe was said to have acquired the Lexus 330 two weeks ago.
While residents of Umubere had been in panic mood since the incident happened, fans of the deceased have taken to social media to send their condolence messages.
