Zaaki Azzay and 2Baba are two of Nigeria’s notable musicians. They are both veterans in the entertainment sector. They are from the same state, Benue. They’ve also collaborated with a lot of other musicians.
But, surprisingly, even shockingly, they’ve never collaborated with each other, if not for personal glory, but for the glory of their state.
And it seems their non-collaboration is a beef between them, especially as Zaaki had said in the past that he’s better than 2face and D’Banj.
When our correspondent met Zaaki recently, and he asked him why he and 2Baba have never collaborated, he didn’t shy away, but responded
promptly.
“I’ve made several efforts to do a song with 2face. We even met at the SoundCity MVP Awards and we discussed the same thing. I think the issue is ,when he’s in the country, I’m not. When I’m in the country, he’s not. But by the grace of God, one day, and very soon, we’ll do a song together,” he
said.
