Yoruba youths ask Buhari to tackle ethnic agitations 

…hail withdrawal of Igbo quit notice
The Yoruba Youth Congress has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to find ways of identifying root causes of ethnic agitations in the country.
The group hailed the withdrawn of the quit notice the Northern Youth Coalition gave to the Igbo residing in the North to leave before October 1.
National President of the group, Dapo Adepoju, who spoke with reporters in Akure, the state capital, commended the northern youths for the withdrawal of the notice.
Adepoju said the withdrawal of the quit notice had further shown that the unity of the country was non negotiable.
He commended efforts of the Federal Government to make sure Nigeria remains a peaceful and united country.
The chairman sought adequate engagement of young Nigerians in the efforts of the federal government to address the challenge of ethnic agitations in the country.
He also urged President Buhari to involve more youths in the running of the affairs of government and call for a national youth confab.
The group said: “We believe that there are root causes of all these agitations. We want the Federal government to look deeper
“We want the Federal government to place premium on the welfare and affair of the youths. You will notice that Youths are at the forefront of this agitations.”
