Amotekun nabs 2 suspected bandits with AK-47 in Oyo

The Oyo State Security Network Agency otherwise called Amotekun Corps, has arrested two suspected bandits.

One AK-47 riffle, a pump action and a dane gun were said to have been recovered from the bandits.

The suspected hoodlums namely, Mumini Saliu, 45 and Ibrahim Suleiman, 25, are believed to be Fulani men.

They were reportedly apprehended by men of the Amotekun Corps at Alapa Village, Lanlate in Ibarapa East Local Government Area of the state.

In addition, the security operatives said that they recovered 82 rounds of 7.62 ammunition and 7 cartridges, among other harmful weapons from the hoodlums.

The suspected bandits had been handed over to the Director of State Security Services, Oyo State Command for further investigation.
