APC presidential primary now to hold May 29, 30

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) on Wednesday fixed 29 and 30 for the presidential primary election.

This was contained in its adjusted Timetable/Schedule of Activities that was approved by the NWC.

The new schedule which was released by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, at the end of the Party’s NWC meeting at the Buhari House National Secretariat of the party also includes the Governorship, State House of Assembly, House of Representatives and Senate.

According to the national officer, “Governorship and House of Representatives will hold on Thursday, 26th of May, 2022. Senate and House of Assembly will hold on Friday, 27th of May, 2022

“Election appeals for Governorship and House of Representatives will hold on Friday, 27th of May, 2022 while Senate and House of Assembly will be on Saturday, 28th of May, 2022”

The Party will hold a special Convention for Presidential Primaries on Sunday 29th and Monday, 30th of May, 2022.

Meanwhile, the National Publicity Secretary stated that the National Working Committee is not aware if former President Goodluck Jonathan has submitted his nomination forms or not.

The change of timetable schedule does not affect the Monday, May 23 Presidential Screening earlier fixed by the party.
