Buhari lands in Imo to commission projects

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Imo State to inaugurate some projects done by Governor Hope Uzodimma.

He was welcomed at the Sam Mbakwe airport by 11am by the governor, a crowd comprising men in red caps and white outfits and traditional dancers, after which he left for the commissioning.

According to the statement by Dr Paul Ihunanya on Saturday, aside attending to sundry matters, the president is billed to commission the Owerri-Orlu road and the newly built and furnished Imo State House of Assembly Complex.

The president’s visit will be his second in one year which was on September 9, 2021, where he launched projects and held talks with Igbo leaders.
