Nigerian telecommunication giant, Globacom Limited, is currently planning to dazzle the officers and men of Nigeria Airforce with a dedicated special SIM aimed at giving them a special treat.
A senior executive officer of the organisation, Mr Babajide Ibigbami, while speaking at the NAF children’s party in Lagos, said the telecommunication company was
already considering creating the special line to
support the men and officers in delivering their national assignment effectively.
According to him, the special SIM will enable the military men to enjoy special services from the company in order to encourage effectiveness in delivering their work. This special line will be charged with very little money, especially when members of the same family make calls with it.
Meanwhile, the 055 Nigeria Airforce Camp, Air Commodore Kayode Olanrewaju, has appreciated the move by the telecommunication company, saying, “We appreciate their support in this year’s end of year party for our children. And we hope they will always be there.”
However, members of the NAF family at the children’s party, commended the telecommunication company, especially on the move to provide them with a dedicated line.
Mrs Babajide Olorunfemi, while speaking with our correspondent, said, “We will appreciate if the promise is fulfilled. It is a thing of joy for us to know that they care for the family of the people that secure the country in certain capacity.”
Another parent at the event, who simply identified herself as Mrs Abdullahi, said “the development will be well appreciated if the telecommunication company can make it happen. I believe they are up to the task and we will be expecting
it.”
