Enyeama’s Lille needs more than miracle

Lille OSC Metropole Football Club of France will need more than a miracle to remain in the French Lique 1 after this season.

Vincent Enyeama’s club has been floating in the 14 position of the league after 29 games with 9 victories, six draws, 14 loses and 33 points, behind Caen Football Club and Mel. The club had tried all it could to remain relevant in the league with last weekend’s 2-1 away win over Nancy Football Club, but their position still remain static on the table.

Lille manager, Franck Passi, has been having sleepless nights on how to escape the turbulent waters of the sinking ship and get the club back at the middle of the table.

Lille’s midfield and defence have been questionable in recent times. They had conceded more than they could manage for them return to the club glory days.

But this weekend, Lille’s officials are living no stone unturned to see that they grab the three points at stake against Olympique Marseille at home.

Lille’s manager believes that only a miracle could help his boys’ determination to move out of the bottom of the league.

“We will continue to fight and fight until we get out of the mud. We can do it. It is achievable. We won’t relent and we shall never surrender to shame,” he said.
