FG declares woman, 34, wanted, for kidnapping teenagers, forcing them into prostitution

A 34-year-old woman, Perebi Nicole Otubo, has been accused of kidnapping underage girls, who she also forces into prostitution and subjects to other inhumane treatment.
Otubo, who hails from Delta State, was also accused of child trafficking and abuses.
The Deputy Director/Head, Press and Public Relations, National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, Josiah Emerole, told our correspondent that “she has been linked to an international human trafficking ring that specialises in trafficking young girls from Nigeria to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for sexual exploitation (prostitution).”
Our correspondent gathered that the suspect, who had served a prison term in Dubai, for sexual exploitation, and completed her jail term in July this year, was notorious for international human trafficking.
Emerole said since Otubo was released from jail in July, she had since returned to Nigeria to take refuge, adding that she would be arrested whenever found.
He disclosed that some of her accomplices had already been arrested and were currently undergoing prosecution.
“She is somewhere hiding in Nigeria and we want anyone with useful information in connection with her whereabouts to inform us,” he said.
