In 2015, God revealed to me that Nigerians would suffer under APC – President, Pentecostal Ministries

clergyman and President of the Pentecostal Sanctuary Bible Ministries, Prophet Sunday Dare Iyunade, has accused the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government of taking Nigeria backward, blaming the President Muhammadu Buhari administration for the various problems confronting the country.

He also slammed the Buhari government for allegedly dashing the hopes, aspirations and expectations of Nigerians.

Nigeria is now more corrupt than when they (APC) came on board

Iyunade stated these on Sunday at a press conference at the PSBM headquarters in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, to herald the commemoration of his church’s 22nd anniversary and its 16th annual convention with the theme, ‘The Lord is my Shepherd.’

The cleric alleged that the Buhari administration had continued to set the country backward, especially on both the economic and political fronts as the security situation became aggravated.

He, therefore, warned that Nigeria risked being hit by worse afflictions such as corruption, poverty and further decline in standard of living, unless Nigerians prayed and fasted fervently.

Iyunade, however, noted that for the country to escape what he termed “government-induced poverty” as well as to effect a change in government in 2019, Nigerians must pray like they did during the outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus in the country.

According to him, God had warned Nigeria in 2014, through him, that if the APC won the 2015 general elections, the party would not only afflict the country with poverty, it would also use all the security agencies to oppress the people.

He, therefore, urged Nigerians to seek God’s intervention, warning that the current administration would destroy structures they met on ground and set up new ones to further take the country backward.

Iyunade said, “Nigeria is now corrupt than when they (APC) came on board. All parastatals have increased the art of corruption. This government generated more IGR than the previous government; external reserve is increasing, yet, the value of the currency is depreciating everyday. To fight corruption in Nigeria, charity must begin at home.

“Until our leaders begin to fight corruption among themselves and amongst their close associates and political party members, corruption cannot be effectively tackled. God revealed to me that this government would not operate democracy. Democracy will depreciate under this government. Don’t expect dividends of democracy from them.

“God repeated the revelation which I saw in 2014. Back then, He revealed to me that an Emperor, who would be autocratic in his ways, would soon emerge in the country, and that it would cause serious setback to Nigeria as they would rule by force. He said we would return into slavery if such leaders emerged in our nation.”

The cleric also warned that Nigeria risked drought and famine that might be experienced throughout the tenure of the current administration.

“Furthermore, in 2015, before the elections, God told me there would be hunger in the country. This prophecy still stands. We need to pray against hunger and thirst. Only intense prayers can save us,” the cleric said
