Journalist Madu Onuorah “abducted” by Ebonyi, Enugu Police, regains freedom

The Publisher and editor-in-chief of Globalupfront Newspaper, Madu Onuorah, has been released by the Enugu State Police Command, according to the management of the newspaper organisation.

The journalist was abducted in his Abuja home on Wednesday by police operatives from the Ebonyi State Command who later handed him over to the Enugu State Police Command.

The organisation said Onuorah was released on bail by the police on Thursday evening.

“We have confirmed the release (on bail) of our Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Madu Onuorah who was abducted by men of the Ebonyi Police Command on Wednesday 22/5/2024 evening from his residence in Lugbe, Abuja,” the company said.
