BY ROTIMI DUROJAIYE

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has explained that he returned to the ruling All Progressives Congress for the unity of Nigeria.

He said he had been a founding member of the APC.

Fani-Kayode said whatever opinion people may have about his credibility because of his constant change of parties was up to them.

He made the clarification at the presidential villa, Abuja after he was presented to President Muhammadu Buhari as a member of the APC.

The former spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party presidential campaign council in 2019, was introduced to the president by the Governor of Yobe state and Chairman of the APC national caretaker committee, Mai Mala Buni and his Zamfara state counterpart, Bello Matawalle.

Fani-Kayode also said that he was wooing Governors Seyi Makinde, Bala Mohammed and Ifeanyi Uguanyi of Oyo, Bauchi and Enugu States respectively, to join the APC.

He also said that he was instrumental to three PDP governors who defected recently to the ruling APC.
