BREAKING: Court suspends Oshiomhole as APC National Chairman

A Federal Capital Territory High Court,  in Jabi, has suspended Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
The Point had exclusively reported last week that plans to remove Oshiomhole as chairman had been intensified by stakeholders who felt his continued stay in office would jeopardize the chances of the party in 2023 or place it under the total control of National Leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
While delivering a ruling on an application for interlocutory injunction, Justice Danlami Senchi ruled that Oshiomhole should remain on suspension pending the determination of the main suit.
The court said APC had  continued to retain him wrongfully as its National Chairman when he had been suspended as a member of the party.
The party was ordered to deny Oshiomhole access to the party secretariat while the suspended chairman was directed to stop parading himself as APC National Chairman.
